We had an excellent experience with Dr. Mazzuoccolo and the entire team at North Florida Oral & Facial Surgery. My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed on July 1st, and from the consultation through her one-week follow-up, everyone was kind, professional, and incredibly caring. They took the time to answer every question we had, explained everything clearly, and made sure we felt comfortable before and after surgery. Her procedure went smoothly, and she’s healing beautifully thanks to their excellent care and detailed post-operative instructions. At her follow-up appointment, we received another warm welcome, and they made sure she was healing well before clearing her to return to normal activities. We truly appreciate how attentive and compassionate everyone was throughout the entire process. Thank you, Dr. Mazzuoccolo and the entire staff, for taking such great care of my daughter. Wonderful experience, customer service, and surgery. The let down was not being asked if I wanted to keep my wisdom teeth, and being told too bad they were thrown away. 😞

I have been to this office 5 different times and I cannot think of a negative thing to say or a suggestion to improve their office. The office staff is friendly, patient and very efficient. If you have a question or concern they are very nice about making sure that your concerns have been clarified. The medical staff is also very friendly, professional and knowledgeable….. which helps a lot to make one much more comfortable and a lot less anxious! Then there is Dr Mazz…… I wish all doctors had his knowledge, patience and amazing ability to comfort and insure understanding of recommendations and procedures to come. This practice is the best I have encountered ever!

What really sets this office apart is the staff. They are phenomenal—some of the kindest, most compassionate people I’ve ever encountered in a medical setting. From the front desk to the assistants, every single person made me feel genuinely cared for. They were patient, warm, and made sure I was never left in pain or unsure about what to do. Dr. John J. Mazzuoccolo did a great job with the surgery itself, and I’m grateful for his skill. But what made this experience truly exceptional was the way the team handled my recovery. Anytime I called with a question or concern, someone got back to me quickly—and the doctor personally made sure I had what I needed to stay comfortable. If you're looking for an oral surgeon who treats you like a person, not a chart, this is the place. I highly recommend them.
